There is a new, revised Prüfungs- und Studienordnung (= PO 2020) for students who started the MA programme in winter term 202/21 or later. Students who started the MA programme earlier, PO 2012 remains valid.

When registering for GGSP courses and exams: What are the regulations?
- By choosing (= registering for an exam in) a GGSP-module or by choosing (= registering for an exam in) one of the modules from WP 18 to 23 and WP 32 to 37 you make an irreversible decision either for or against the GGSP for the rest of your MA studies:
- If you opt for a GGSP module (no matter in which semester of your MA studies) once, this means that you have to do the full required 30 ECTS in GGSP and can no longer choose modules from WP 18 to 23 and WP 32 to 37
- Correspondingly: if you opt for a module from Profile Modules WP 18 to 23 and WP 32 to 37 you can no longer (in no semester) select modules from GGSP
- Students who major in the MA English studies may not take GGSP modules offered by the English Deparment (= "WP Ang"-modules)
