Dr. Kathrin Härtl

About

Kathrin Härtl studied English and German Literature at LMU, Munich and completed her studies in 2011. Since then, she has been working as research assistand in the English Department of the LMU Munich. She submitted her PhD thesis in March 2017: "The Common Bond of the Sea. Derek Walcott and Joseph Conrad."

Currently, she is a postdoctoral fellow (DFG funded research group) and works on transformations and rewritings of Victorian adventure in postcolonial fiction.
