About
Sarah Fekadu-Uthoff studied Comparative Literature, English Literature and Philosophy at Tübingen, Warwick (UK), and Berlin (M.A. 2005) and completed her doctorate at the LMU Munich in 2010. Since then, she has been working as Assistant Professor in the English Department of the LMU Munich. Her current research focuses on the impact of global interconnectedness and migration on literary texts, with a specific focus on English and Anglophone literature coming from or dealing with the region of the Horn of Africa.
Her teaching focuses on colonial and postcolonial literature to and from Africa, travel writing, literary theory, and Anglo-American literature and culture of the early twentieth century.
