Forum Junge Englische Linguistik in Bayern – FJUEL 2026
We are pleased to announce that the 15th iteration of the Forum Junge Englische Linguistik in Bayern (FJUEL) will take place in Munich (Schellingstraße 3, 80799 München) on October 8–9, 2026.
FJUEL 2026 welcomes contributions by advanced students (Master's and Lehramt), Ph.D. candidates, and post-docs on any topic related to English linguistics. The conference will also feature a workshop.
Call for Papers
We welcome abstracts on all topics related to English linguistics, for two different presentation formats:
- Regular papers: 20 minutes for presentation, plus 10 minutes for discussion
- Poster presentations: on display and presented in a special poster session.
Abstracts must not exceed 500 words (excluding title and references) and should clearly state research question(s), approach, data, method and (expected) results.
Please submit your abstract by June 30, 2026, as a PDF file via email to fjuel2026@anglistik.uni-muenchen.de. Participants will receive notification of acceptance by the end of July.
Registration
Registration is free (with coffee breaks included), and will be open from August 1, 2026, to September 20, 2026.
